Nine Hotfooters set out to the brand new XCountry event hosted by Maldwyn Harriers at National Trust property Gregynog Hall, Newtown. 90 minute drive away from Hay but this single lap course looked too interesting to pass up. 144 participants enjoyed hills (798ft/243m), wetland, grass, water crossing and woodland trails. If you can overlook the travel time required then most would agree this just could be a new favourite! The next event is at Malvern College (another new course) on 4th January 2026. Go easy on the festivities and keep running!
